Eric Wood, DDS
After graduating from Fisk University, Dr. Wood
earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from
Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry. Dr.
Wood later completed his pediatric dentistry training at Emory
University/Scottish Rite Children's Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
Additionally, he was the Director of the Oral Health Division,
Metropolitan Health Department for 5 years.
Dr. Wood is also a Clinical Instructor,
Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Meharry Medical
College School of Dentistry.

technology, treatment options and patient comfort. It is important to

Mary Watts, DDS
Dr. Mary E. Watts is a Meharry graduate, successful at management and
treatment of dental patients at the academic, public and private levels.
She is a clinician, determined to provide the community with dental
knowledge in order to educate and thusly improve the dental perspective
and health of the general public. After educating and improving, her
main goal is to provide the highest quality service to restore
children’s oral cavity to appropriate function and esthetics.

Angela W. Southwell, DDS
Dr. Angela W. Southwell is proud to welcome patients to a practice with real care, compassion, combine with education and experience, to provide the best in dental care. Her philosophy of gentle, proficient service to the patient along with the support of a dedicated, knowledgeable team creates excellence in both patient care and clinical results.
Dr. Angela W. Southwell graduated from Spelman College, Atlanta, GA. in 1991 with a B.S. in Biology. She then attended The City College of The City University of New York and graduated with an M.A. in Biology in 1995. In 2003 she attended Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry where she received her degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. Lastly, she completed a General Practice Residency at St. Luke/ St. Vincent’s Charity Hospital in 2004.
Dr. Southwell is married to Dr. Clyde Southwell, Pulmonologist at Tennessee Comprehensive Lung and Sleep Center. They are the proud parents of two athletic and energetic sons. During her free time, she enjoys fitness and healthy living, reading, being involved in charitable and community activities/events, as well as attending her children’s activities. She is a proud member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Joseph W. Walker, III.
Dr. Southwell is a member of Capital City Dental Society, American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, TN Comprehensive Lung & Sleep Center, Jack and Jill of America and Spelman Alumni Association.
